Minimal downtime, maximum speed
We move what your
business runs on.
Sea, air and road freight from the Rotterdam gateway, arranged door to door, by a team that answers the phone and tells you where your cargo actually is.
Door to door
From pickup at your supplier to delivery at the final address.
Rotterdam gateway
Twenty minutes from the port, close to Schiphol and the motorway network.
FCL · LCL · Air · Road
Import, export, transit and cross-trade, on one account.
One point of contact
The person who quoted your shipment is the person who follows it.
01 · What we do
Four ways in,
one way of working.
Most shipments use more than one mode before they arrive. We plan the whole route, not just the leg you asked about, and we tell you when a cheaper option is the slower one.
02 · The team
The people who
pick up the phone.
Every file here has a name on it. Usually one you can still call after six.
A forwarder is only as good as the person handling your shipment, so we keep the team small and we keep them. The colleague who quotes your booking is the one who follows it, files the customs entry and calls you when a sailing rolls.
Nobody here has to ask permission to solve something. That is the whole advantage of an office where everyone can hear everyone else, and it is the reason clients tend to stay.
Direct line, direct email, and an answer in hours rather than days.
A rolled sailing, port congestion, a customs hold: you hear it from us first.
Low turnover, so nobody has to explain their supply chain twice.

“If a cheaper sailing costs you a week, I will say so before you book it.”

“The phone is next to my bed. That is genuinely the whole service.”

“Most border problems are planning problems. We sort them at the booking.”

“You will not get a ticket number from me. You will get an answer.”

“Cargo should wait somewhere sensible, not on a quay in the rain.”
Dordrecht · sales, operations and customs under one roof

03 · Always reachable
Day and night,
not only office hours.
SGF grew out of Mo Sneed Transport and has kept the habit: a stable, growing organisation that is ready to assist its clients day and night. One point of contact, and a phone that is answered outside office hours.
04 · How it works
From your ask
to their door.
The same four steps whether it is one pallet to Hamburg or a full charter to Lagos. What changes is how much of it you want to see.
01
The brief
What is moving, from where to where, and by when. If the deadline is the hard part, we start there and work backwards.
02
The route
A quote with the whole route in it, legs, transit time, customs, and the assumptions behind the price. No surprises further down.
03
The move
Booking, collection, documents, customs and the handover. One file, one contact, one reference number.
04
Proof
Delivery confirmed, documents filed, invoice matching the quote. And a note on what to do differently next time.
05 · Trade lanes
Where we go
most often.
Not a full list, these are the routes we book weekly, where we know the carriers, the terminals and the customs office by name.
| Lane | Mode | Departures |
|---|---|---|
| Rotterdam → Shanghai | Sea FCL / LCL | Weekly |
| Rotterdam → New York | Sea FCL | Weekly |
| Amsterdam → Dubai | Air | Daily |
| Rotterdam → Lagos | Sea FCL / breakbulk | Fortnightly |
| Dordrecht → Hamburg | Road FTL / LTL | Daily |
| Amsterdam → Singapore | Air express | Daily |
